I purchased my first handgun from Turners. It wasn't in stock when I went to go buy it. So, we put it on lay-a-way. Put up a certain percent down on it and was told that once they got the serial number, meaning that once they had it in stock, I had to go and pay for it. Well, between that time, I went to leave a deposit and didn't realize that the gun was on sale until I checked the receipt. They lowered the purchase price (from my original receipt) of the gun to the sale price automatically. I thought that this was really cool. I ended saving $50!

Turners didn't say anything about their distributor having or not having it in stock? If their distributor has it in stock, it shouldn't take that long for Turner to get it.

Were they able to acquire a serial number?

Deposit is 30% down or more if you want. If firearm is in stock and if you cancel order you loss your 30% if your firearm is not in stock they tentatively give you a future date. Local Turners kept me up to do date on ETA. I had to special order my first Sig which took about 2 months to fill but since it was on layaway which it helped me add to long guns when i dros saved me 50 bucks lol. In all i am happy with my local Turners.

No for whatever reason they all keep just saying they will give me a call.

I bought a rifle during a sale least year that was oos. The salesman was super helpful and I was told they'd notify me when it came in.

Took about 3 or 4 months iirc. I finally called them one day and asked what was the eta and they said they had just received them and I could come in and start dros.

Wasn't sure if it was just excellent timing on my part or if they had forgotten about me and I caught a shipment.
