We're currently in peak fire danger season. Go to Sac Valley Shooting Center and join the Folsom Shooting Club.

A lot of Nevada BLM also have fire restrictions but it mainly restricts steel-cased/steel-core ammo. In my experience, the Nevada BLM rangers tend to roll past us and rarely stop to check even if fire restrictions are in place.

El Dorado National Forest off Highway 50. Around 45 minutes from Folsom. Search on this site for locations up there..

All of the above apply to any shooting on BLM Land. No shade; no water; no A/C; no target hangers; paper only; weekends are often busy which translates into increased safety hazards. Spenceville closes around 8 pm.
