Military moving to CA w/ off roster pistol... whatsthe process?

Got a very close family friend that is reporting to a new command in CA in June. She is a new gun owner and is unsure of the process for bringing in a gun in CA and is asking advice from me. I have no idea what the process or deal with military moving in state and all that. Stuff ive searched on the interwebs seem dated. Anyone point me in the right direction?

No AW, check the AW links above. No magazines over 10 rounds. If she stays in the military she doesn't need to register her Firearms.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

See also the wiki -- http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/in..._with_firearms

Also note some commands are a bit confused by CA laws, and may have additional requirements.

So as long she's enlisted, no register.... so what if she retires in CA, does she need to register her pistols?

If she separates from the military in California and decides to stay in California she has 60 days from separation to register her firearms.

She would use the new resident form to register all the firearms for one price.

Make sure she buys lots of off roster guns before she moves here. She could look at them as a retirement fund.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Why does Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery have anything to do with guns or CA law?

Also, make sure she messages me first prior to posting off roster weapons so I can get first dibs. Thanks!
