    if they are neoprene waders then I wouldnt wear anything except boxers or basketball shorts. The neoprene will keep you plenty warm. If they are the baggy styyle non neoprene then u might want to wear some thin thermals.

      I think the logo must have added some value to those pants. Glad to hear they work well. My suggestion was for the light weight waterproof/breathable stuff now available (GoreTex etc...), not neoprene, or balkanized rubber wear.

        GoreTex, or similar, "spring" cycling tights ($45) work very well under neoprene and you don't feel swampy all day. Use with Sealskin socks and you'll be dry all day long.

          My waders are the light breathable type. I use them for fly fishing too. I ordered a pair of the Drake pants. They should arrive just in time for the session to end

                Being in SoCal I wear shorts for most of the season. Thermals and jeans when it gets colder.

                      +++++For breathable waders++++
                      when its warm i just wear light weight wicking thermals. As it gets colder i ad light weight gortex pants over thermals of different weights. That will keep you comfy to about 32 deg. from 32 to 20 or so i wear heavy thermals and polar fleece pants. Below that down to zero and beyond its heavy thermals with Thinsulate goose hunting pants. You can lay all day in the frozen tundra with that combo.

                      wear nothing that can absorb water ever and you will be a happy camper. jeans and cotton products are out.

                        Fleece wader pants that are due to be replaced. If it is really cold I have add a pair of UA 4.0 base layer pants.

                          Hot Chillis brand thermal pants inside my neoprene waders
                          The best part of hunting and fishing was the thinking about going and the talking about it after you got back

                            Ysr - unless your standing in deep water you may be overdressing. I wear some fleece pants only. If it's going to not get out of the 30's that day I may add some light thermals under the fleece. Now if I only had to walk 100 yards I may wear those thermals all the time but hunting the refuge typically means 1/2 mile walk pushing a cart or more. It's better to be a little chilled and dry vs wet and cold when its cold out. Managing sweat (meaning don't get sweaty is key). Never wear all your layers on your walk out. Unless it's raining or the walk is stupid short I strip down to long sleeves and strap my jacket and vest to/in my pack.
