IMO, even though the 6921 is not listed it would be my fear they meant anything in the 6920 series of guns...especially since Colt's are specifically named on the list. Man, that's a tough one!
If I'm not mistaken, the series language was invalidated by the Harrott v. King decision and as a result the gun must be explicitly listed on the list to be banned...

    Nice looking Colt Off-list ARs!

There's no such thing as "series." That's the whole point of Harrot.

I would argue that the 6920 is probably the ONLY Colt banned (since it's clearly spelled out with both "Law Enforcement" and "(6920)") while the other 3 create their own series.

However, that's beyond my threshold of comfort. I wouldn't own any that say AR-15, Sporter, Match Target or the 6920 LE. I would have no problem with the 6940, 6921, etc. In fact, the 6940 and 6921 sometimes have the same lower (it's like a crap shoot with Colt markings).

speaking of colt markings... from the picture, how would one distinguish the lower as a 6921? i would love to own one if it is in fact marked as such.

This is exactly what concerns me about these rifles. I feel comfortable that Harrot would allow possession of these rifles. What I don't feel comfortable with is the uneducated CaDoJ, BLM Rangers and US Forestry Rangers that might be checking someone who is shooting in a legal shooting area but automatically (no pun intended!!) breaks someone's balls just because it is a Colt. For me, I'm not sure it would be worth that risk...even to possess one of the very cool rifles. All that said, for 2 grand I think they should include a magazine.

Knesek Guns/NWA are not honorable dealers...I wouldn't buy from them...

Larry called and he's working on making it right. I'll update as soon as things are settled.

WOW! I have seen them go for way over 2300 here. I seen once knesek's had them on sale for 1,850. I also dont think they will call you back at 1,600. I cant wait to get mine in and put some rounds down range!!!

Did you put down or deposit or cut a PO. If you didn't do either, it wouldn't be in the books.

Good luck getting a CA FFL to transfer these. If these were fair game, so would the 6940's. Not a thread crap, because I am jealous and would like one, but EVERY FFL in my area wants nothing to do with any lower that says COLT(S).

SteveK - I went out of my way a couple times to assist you in getting a 6921 after our first batch were all sold out. I helped you out as best I could on the price but it was still too much. Can we just call it even? I don't think you are out anything and we would appreciate your support in selling firearms to California.

MissionTrails - I haven't seen a dealer flinch yet. We've shipped about 50 of these into California without issue. The customers have successfully registered them and are happily shooting their Colt M4LE lowers.

RECCE556 - I'm sorry we disappointed you, but we'd love a chance to change your opinion.

                                Thanks,
                                Jeremy @ NWA Tactical
