Hope that didn't happen in your hands. Ares replaced mine no questions asked and the only thing wrong was the mag release area cracked under pressure. Sent me a new one and didn't even ask for the broken one in return. So I built on the broken one in case I made any other mistakes and will be switching to the new frame when I have time. I bet Ares will replace it.

What, in your experience, happens/wears after 1000 rounds? Is it issues with the plastic I imagine?

They replaced mine as well no questions asked.

This happened after I got home from the range and firing it.
my dog knocked it on the floor and snapped. (just think if I put a few more rounds through it)

Would converting it to 9mm help the integrity of the grip?

I put .22 upper on my frame. love it. Very lite and fun to shoot.
