    Ok guys here goes... First off ill start the thread with some pictures, then ill post what not to do with your frame and grip when you first get it.

    Please post your building experience! As I go (depending on cash) ill add info and pictures, but as you build your 1911 please post info to help everyone.

              why are the grip and frame 2 different pieces? was this the preference of those involved in the group buy?

                  Next up is the frame with the jig, the good news there is really only one way to put this together.






















                  I recommend attaching the top of the jig to the frame BEFORE putting it into the lower part of the jig. As you can see in the first image when the frame and the lower part of the jig are sitting within each other it will be cockeyeed... Putting the top on first helps.

                            Short answer...
                            No instructions

                            Long Answer...
                            All of the guides are there, one way to look at this is if you are cutting the jig then you are doing it wrong.

                            As for what needs to be cut (anyone jump in if im wrong)
                            3 holes on the left side of the frame (grip in hand pointed away)
                            And the rails on the top (both sides)

                              barrel seat needs to be cut
                              hole for the ejector pin needs to be drilled
