    Browning 1911-22 Sear Spring Issue

Guys, I just finished upgrading my basic Browning 1911-22 with Black Label parts including sights, trigger, Ambo thumb safety, grip safety, slide release and flat grip housing.

However, the hammer will not stay cocked nor does the trigger release the hammer when I hold the hammer back. I have taken the main spring out several times and reinstalled it with no success...I must be installing it wrong.

Is there anyone in the SF valley familiar with these guns that can take a look at it for me or know of a local gunsmith??

    Much thanks
    Maurice

In the standard 1911 design, several of those are hand fitted parts.
It's no surprise that a 1911 type pistol would not work when you swapped out those parts.

      I am in Van Nuys.
      I can fix it.
