I wonder what some of you do for a living that you can go out to Front Sight several times per year?

Just getting 6-days out (4-days' class + 2-days travel) is a challenge... With the job, wife and kids... Hahaha!!!

I envy you guys!

Work four 8hr shifts per week. Get 4 weeks paid vacation/year. It's about an 8 hour drive from me to get to FS. Used credit card points to cover the hotel last time. No wife or kids.

So when faced with the decision to lay off all of Front Sight's staff or bear the personal financial burden of keeping them all on Front Sight's payroll, and finding ways to keep them busy at home or on special projects, I chose Front Sight's staff over money. It was an easy decision. Although we have hundreds of instructors and staff members, some I have never even personally met, I wanted them to each know that in these tough times, when there is trouble, THEY CAN COUNT ON ME.

We don't know when sporting events will be allowed again, or large concerts will resume, or the casinos will reopen, or hundreds of worshipers will be allowed to gather under one roof again, or when Front Sight will be allowed to train several hundred students each day, but I WANT YOU TO KNOW that when the world is ready, Front Sight's staff will be ready for YOU because they are continuing to maintain the facilities, continuing to build the resort, and continuing to TRAIN, to remain the finest instructional staff in the industry. They have to be upgraded through front sight. I am pretty careful not to give mine out if the person will go past a four day course.

Yep. Especially given that you can pick up a Diamond or Commander membership at a good price if you shop around.

I must have missed that in the list. I also started as Ambassador, then Guardian, then Heritage. I added President 3 but still show as Heritage in my membership. I will revert to President 3 when I decline the actual condo purchase. But I will also then get back the sh*tload of memberships, certs and other stuff I traded in for the Heritage. That should be fun....

This is the genius or insanity of Dr. P's scheme: Once you start, the only way to move up is to buy from him. All of my Diamond memberships were upgraded to Commander a while back. I thought, "Great, I will help friends who are currently Diamond upgrade to Commander." Nope. No Go.

And that chapped my hide.

And, I totally understand why he does it that way. But it still chaps my hide...
