When you have to live off of ramen because your paychecks go to buying cases of ammo, you know you don't have a problem yet.

For my 9mm needs, I just pick up a case of 500-round reloads from the ammo store every two or three weeks. Still haven't decided if I want to stock .357 or .38 for my revolver.

My habit is so bad, I need a spreadsheet to keep track of what is in my "ammo" safe.

Rooting around in the closet in the cat's room and found a case of 5.56. Forgot it was in there. Such happiness!
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

I reload but I have started cutting back on how much centerfire I burn through in a month. September was 400 rounds of 9mm, 100 rounds of .380, 100 rounds of .223 and 2500 rounds of .22lr shot at the range. Didn't burn any .270win though, since it was too dang hot to head to the outdoor range and I will be damned if I am gonna shoot a .270win at a 25 yard indoor range.

I'm down to under 100 projectiles for my 9mm, hoping to make a run to one of the component stores in my area to pick up some bulk plated bullets tomorrow. Thinking another 2000 124gr 9mm bullets should last me through the beginning of next year. Really considering getting a die set and loading .223 as well, none of the walmarts around me seem to stock the $7 a box American Eagle.

My cats have their own room, it's nice to have somewhere to keep their litterbox and food separate from the rest of the area that humans have to sleep, eat and otherwise smell the air. I did setup my reloading bench in the closet in that room.

I was helping my dad reorganize his safe yesterday, and found 300 rounds of 30-30 I had loaded when I was 14 years old I am gonna shoot them this week in the 30-30 he bought me when I was 12.

I have been shooting so much 5.56 lately, I have just been buying it instead of reloading my brass ( I save the reloading time/effort for my long range guns ) ...just picked up another 2K from Palmetto. Still felt like a lightweight, my buddy asked me to order some for him at his house...as I was putting in the amount he said make it 4K instead.

                            This sounds backwards to me.
It should have read, " I found a case of cat food in my ammo room"

I have several thousand rounds of ammo in calibers that I can't even shoot.
