    Shotgun Wall Mount Help

I have a Mossberg 930 22" I need to mount now that my daughter is walking and getting into things.

I like the idea of mounting it in the closet above the sliding door. Typically a header is there so screwing mounts shouldn't be a problem.

I was thinking about a heavy duty magnets but that's really secure.

Anyone use a keyed lock mount like this before? I can have the key close for quick access.

imho i think a shotlock would be a better option. ymmv. it covers the trigger/receiver and no need to look for a key when its urgent. truth be told i have never used either.

Keep your home defense shotgun secure, close & ready in a ShotLock 200M Solo-Vault constructed of military-grade 14 gauge steel. Secures most shotguns.

I use a shotlock type simplex lock. Those are by far my favorite from keeping away from ignorant kids or dumb "adults".

No electric/no key - pretty dam.fast access when needed

          I use a shotlock also.

I Modified the door on it, so I could keep the side saddle on it

Another option is a Mossberg Loc Box (if you can find one).

I welded up my own shotgun mount in a walk in closet and bolted it to two studs in the wall. The shotgun is accessible via a key lock designed for, well… shotguns. I have several pictures, but I don’t know how to post pictures here, unless I upload the pictures to some photo website (which I’m not about to do).

My shotgun rack however is bulletproof and stronger than anything sold on the market. I used 3/8” channel iron and welded a custom rack. They’d have to destroy the shotgun first before every getting it out of the rack.
