OK Completely different story. I thought you were talking the bull-pup.

The one you are talking is a conventional style gun and will probably be fine once you learn to shoot it.

Big difference between it, and the Bullpup.

Sorry for the negativity but I just hate to see people go down a wrong path when the right path is well known and well proven.

The idea is to get a gun and shoot it alot to become proficient with it in the hopes that if SHTF you are competent with the gun and not a danger to yourself or anyone on your side of he fight.

This could be reality very soon depending on how far BLM wants to take the impending Biden loss. Only 60 days left before the election.

Something bad will probably happen before or right after that. Best everyone be prepared.

Props to Atlantic! Very cool of you to chime in (even though some here aren't bullpup fans lol).

So is this thing a Semi Auto, I see the bolt catch?

And you charge it using the fore grip?

          Is that how it works?

Or is it pump action with a spring to close it, so you need a bolt hold open?

Way too much conflicting info on this thread.

I have several shotguns. 2 Mossberg 500, Browning Citori ultra trap. Im not shooting this for hunting or Trap. This black aces is for self defense only. I know its lite. I use to use a Mossberg. Would bruise my cheek after 100 rounds . I plan on using 7 1/2,birdshot. Safest for self defense. Ill shoot 100 rounds before trusting for defence.
A Police officer that i know has one . He rapid fired it 125 rounds. He loves it. Every review ive read is 5 stars. American made in Florida. Sounded like killer deal.

Yhings are really getting dicey. I might shoot 100 rounds. I have ARs but they can over penetrate. This seemed like a good semi auto. I know one Cop that has one. His has 125 rounds thru it . No hickups. I have a Mossberg that i put a 18.5 barrel on it. I dont have any semi autos, so for $450 i figured what the hell

Hi, I just wanted to mention that there are many tests you can find on the web that shows 00 buck and 9mm penetrate more than 223

Also, how good are you at quad load or dual load? Compare that to pressing mag release and putting another mag into your rifle.

Maybe it’s ok to stick with your rifle for HD?

Edit: I have a benelli semi auto with 10rd tube loaded with #4 bird, so I get using a shotgun for Hd, but I consider that a backup to my rifle

We use a winchester 1300 pump for home defense, once it's empty I intend on dropping it and grabbing my next weapon.

Alone in a shootout, seconds count. Faster for me to grab another weapon than try and load this one under pressure, in the dark, deaf and pumped with adrenaline...

This is 100% true, both buckshot and most common SD pistol rounds will result in way more overpenetration than 223/556. This may not be an issue of you live in the boonies, but in the suburbs or the city, each missed shot has the potential to do serious damage to someone else. Asl much as I like my shotguns and pistols, I'm seriously considering buying a mini-14 for HD due to overpenetration concerns.

Buying a Mini 14 for any reason is a good move.

Mine is one of my most favorite guns.

Transitioning is fine but learning to load a shotgun in a speedy manner is better and is part of basic shotgun schooling..

In Transitioning the first thing you must have,,, is another gun to transition to. Usually this is a pistol on your belt since very few people can carry a rifle and shotgun at the same time.

Choosing a Pistol over a Shotgun that only needs to have some shells stuffed in it would only be a good choice if the threat was right in your face. If you've got time to move to cover, you've got time to reload the Shotgun.

If the threat is more than 25 yards away, the shotgun is a no brainer.

I can assure you, I'm more than proficient in loading my shotgun fast.

But I'm not going to stuff shells in my chonies at 2am or whenever the need requires.
