That gun will beat the snot out of you! Even with their Mini Recoil pad.

This is no big deal if you only plan to shoot one or two rounds a month, however if you plan on blasting away then plan on a black and blue shoulder and cheek.

I plan to shoot bird shot. I dont plan on shooting much. My friend who is a Police officer shot his 100 rounds in an afternoon. Hes using the full stock. I just am confused about the legality of the birdshead grip. Its not a trap gun.

It is an Assault Shotgun. It is not a sporting shotgun. it is a Tactical Shotgun.

Even with Bird Shot it will hurt you. You obviously have no experience with shotguns. I would try something like a Mossberg 500 to start with and then,,, if you really need to,,, move up to something else.

That gun wouldn't be on my list as it serves no useful purpose beyond breaching doors.. With a Birds Head grip it would be pretty unmanageable.

You really need to go to a few shotgun classes at Front Sight and just rent their guns until you get enough training to know what you actually need.

After looking at this outfits website I see several shotguns in the $2-300 range, these would be far better to learn with than the other thing.

Sometimes you get what you thought wanted, but it turns out to not be what you expected.

That gun would be pretty hard to sell after you decided it wasn't what you were actually expecting.

I saw these guns at the SHOT Show earlier this year. They are a vicious contraption, which is like shooting a Large Wood Rasp with serious recoil..

Been doin' this for a while.

With all due respect, it's a pretty standard semi-auto 12ga, not a 50bmg rifle. even if the OP is a relative novice, I doubt a bunch of birdshot will hurt him. And heck, it's his money and if it's what he wants he should go for it. I was looking at these and frankly the biggest turn-off is the possible quality or lack thereof. OP if you buy one, report back on your experience with it please.
