kadet 22LR conversion for CZ 75B

Has anyone tried this on their CZ? I just drosed a Walther P22 then saw this conversion so I thought I'll just get this instead. Besides, the recoil is virtually non existent when it's mounted on an all metal frame CZ 75B, a + for beginners and wifey.

As stated above, reviews very well. I also looked into it and it seems to be the best 22LR conversion kit. The biggest problem was they were almost impossible
to find. If you do it, please report back.

I have kadet kit that I run on an SP-01. Works great shoots straight no issues.

Bought it to save some $ on ammo costs and to extend range time at less cost per round. But now that I've been reloading for a few years, the cost savings is minimal. Still a good way to "introduce" someone to shooting with a minimal recoil platform, but other than that it doesn't get much use these days.

If .22lr availability/cost changes for the better, it will get more use.

          Here you go.

I saw several youtube videos and people seem to like it. Just wonder if it's ok with bulk ammo? The Walther, on the other hand, prefers hot ammo according to my LGS.

Mine runs without issues on just about any .22lr brand I've tried-even the sub-sonic stuff. I have a marvel precision kit on an SA 1911 Target that wouldn't run on any standard or sub-sonic .22 cartridge-it needed at least 1200 fps to cycle.

Then I realized it isn't the fault of the conversion kit, but can be directly traced to the spring rate or "stiffness" of the main spring (hammer spring). That SA had a whopping 27# spring on the hammer, and it took a lot of "oomph" to push the hammer back during cycle.

The CZ hammer springs are much milder, thus I never had never an issue with bulk or sub-sonics with the kadet.

Benefits are that you file the rails of the conversion kit to fit your receiver, so fit up should be tight. The one that I used fired bulk ammo just fine, and I didn't notice any decrease in accuracy from a Ruger MK III. Probably had 3-5 stove pipes over a brick of bulk ammo. Disadvantage is that is that the magazines are expensive and I'm aware of no speed loader for the magazines (such as the ultimate clip loader) other than filing down the width of a 9mm thumbsaver to work with the 22's.

                  GET ONE !!

The prices on the things keep going up. They work good.
Mags are a bit pricey, and a pain in the thumb to reload.

                      Yep - on a CZ75 P-01
I had my local gunsmith do the fitting, works like a champ.
I can keep up with my wife & her MKII Target on the reactive target course.
Pricey but, reliable & accurate - can't ask for more than that.

My Kadet kit goes with me to the range every time, I love it. I've had mine about eight years.
