Can an SKS Yugo with a flash supressor launch tennis balls?

I've seen ARs shoot golf balls, but they used blanks and a muzzle attachment.
I supposed you could remove the bullet from the cass and use paper as a wad. Then cut an X on the tennis ball and stick it on the end of your barrel.
