Does the Rost Martin have the same Glock/Shadow cruciform trigger mechanism? The revised copy of the bill centers in specifically on the cruciform trigger mechanism and I have no idea if the Rost Martin has that. I know the Rost Martin uses CZ P10 mags and NOT Glock mags.

Based on some disassembly videos, I would say that the RM1C doesn't have the same cruciform trigger.

I don't know for sure, but my impression was that it's a glock clone.

I thought the same thing but after reading up on it, I would say its more a Glock 19-like pistol in it's size and looks, but when it comes down to it, no parts are interchangeable with Glock and it doesn't use Glock mags. I plan on buying one soon even though I just bought a G19 because I like the made in Texas/startup ethos and that it's made by Americans and so far, has received GREAT reviews. I try to support American innovation wherever I can.

If you are not already a Glock owner, I would recommend adding at least on of the G17, G19 or G26 as a second handgun or to your collection. Easy to shoot accurately, maintain and mod.

And most importantly, Gav Boy, Bonta and all of our other enemies of the state are going to ban them so you CAN'T buy one. That alone is reason enough to buy a whole safe full of Glocks. Anything gun related this State wants to ban, I automatically buy several. Eff these bastards.

I have a 43X on my CCW permit. Renewal is coming up in a few months. We shall see what we shall see. The 43X is my only Glock so far.

When we remove the “investors” or “speculators” the hoarding is lessened.

Edit: Then again, depending on how they “exempt Law Enforcement,” this might be another LEO investment opportunity. 😄
True. I have had my G17 for many years and wanted to add a G19 while I could. I think buying guns to turn a profit is kind of dumb but looking at the Marketplace, I'm in the minority it appears.

I have three Glocks but only a G19 that is stock. I plan on getting my BSIS exposed permit can we still use Glocks for the course and will employers allow us to carry these if they become off roster?

I do not wish it, but if Glocks disappeared tomorrow I wouldn’t even notice.

So Democrats want to ban retail sale of new Glocks. What about PPT. What about all the Glocks already in private ownership?????

                          (c) This section shall not apply to any of the following:
                          (1) A machinegun-convertible pistol delivered to a firearms dealer prior to January 1, 2026.
                          (2) The sale of a machinegun-convertible pistol to a police department, sheriff’s office, marshal’s office, district attorney’s office, the California Highway Patrol, the Department of Justice, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, or the military or naval forces of this state or of the United States for use in the discharge of their official duties.
                          (3) A private party to private party transaction conducted through a licensed firearms dealer pursuant to Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 28050).
                          (4) A transfer to a gunsmith or other qualified entity for service or repair.
                          (5) The sale or transfer to a firearms dealer licensed pursuant to Sections 26700 to 26920, inclusive, or to federally licensed firearms manufacturers or dealers outside California.
                          (6) A transfer of a firearm back to a private party after temporary safekeeping storage pursuant to Section 26892.
                          (7) A transfer of a firearm back to a private party after a period of temporary prohibition pursuant to Section 29830.
                          (8) A transfer to any forensic laboratory or forensic laboratory employee, while on duty and acting within the scope and course of employment

It doesn't apply to PPT (#3 above) and some other situations above.

It's obvious that the first step will be to ban the sale of Glocks and clones. The next step will be to ban the ownership and they will try to seize them. This will obviously spread to all semi auto firearms in the State as well with the same nonsensical excuse,
all semi autos are easily convertible to FA, so we must ban them. For the Children. The antis are nothing if not predictable.

Coming soon. LEO pernsonal purchases will be exempt from this.

                              Otherwise it's a dead bill.
