laser/light combo for HK USP full size?

i haven't really heard anything about this product at all, but i've been looking to order a weapon light/laser combo for my full size hk usp 9mm.

are there any other products available for the usp? i've been having a hard time because the rail isn't really compatible with a whole lot of stuff out there, thanks.

Go surefire. Use a MR09 adapter.

It'll give you the closest and highest setup to your trigger finger for easy access to the rocker switch.

AFAIK, the Mk23 and USP have the same size rail. If you can find a Mk23 LAM unit, it should mount on the USP no issues.

Have been checking on the same thing for a while. Hope this helps a little:

The following units each have a limited lifetime warranty, but need a rail adapter to mount on your USP. Make sure you get the correct model for the USP:

Surefire X400: Most expensive, but I have the most confidence in Surefire. Heard that holster options are limited.

Streamlight TRL-2: Reasonable price, very good product.

Insight M6X: Polymer body, another good product. Almost bought this one.

NCStar: Good laser/light combo for the money. Can find them under $100.00 if you look hard enough. No power off switch.


The following (including LDI's Blast2) have a 1 year warranty:

Insight LAM-1000 for HK USP, Visible Laser: No way I could afford this, but I would if I could.

Viridian X5LHK (USP Package): Green laser, cool features. Watch some of their videos.

Almost bit on both the Blast2 and the Viridian, but the 1 year warranty kinda blew it for me on both.
If I'm gonna spend that kind of money on those units, you have to do better than 1 year.

Still prefer the Insight M2 (Light only) on my USP. Just like the way it fits/feels. Made for the USP rail system, so no adapter. To each his own.

I would stay away from the LAM, unless you are a secret ninja squirel
They run 1,500+ and IR units 2,500+ total waste of money. Go with Surefire Xseries .
