So, I took my newly acquired G30sf to the range this last weekend. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed. It was as accurate as my 1911 (that's probably my fault being that I apparently can't shoot for jack poop), shot softer than my 1911, and held 2 more rounds. Hey! What gives Glock! I could have bought 2 of yours for for what I paid for my SA MC Operator!
I'm not really complaining, because I am now going to end up buying another Glock before another 1911. The Operator is a great gun, I love it like it's my own child. The Glock has become the stepchild, the one that I neglect and beat up on without remorse. No FT anythings. Ate all my mixed bag rounds without flinching, and wasn't nearly as akward as the Glock 21 that I fired years ago that made me swear that I'd never buy that plastic crap.
Next up for me...shoot it more. Then, 3.5 lb connector, join GSSF, and save my pennies for a G34. I need another fullsize 9mm, and it's less ugly than the G17. Hopefully with a 9mm I can shoot more and get a little more accurate with a pistol.
In conclusion, if you were ever anti-Glock or even on the fence, jump off, buy one, and enjoy the simplicity and affordability. And, Gaston, if you're reading that last line, I'll take that G34 in lieu of cash!
