Who carries a G19 with Surefire XC1 AIWB?

If so, what holster do you use?

I currently carry my G19 in an Incog Eclipse, which works ok for winter clothes, but will soon have an XC1 light mounted.

Incog does have a model for the XC1 appendix carry, but wanted to look into other options about what others have tried and like for appendix with the XC1 light.

    Check garret industries holsters..
They usually give you an option to put down the brand and model of your gun lights. They will tell you if they can make it or not. Also, you can email them as well.

I carry in a TREX light compatible sidecar. A little pricey but they have an xc1 option.

You can do any number of ways. Sticky Holster will do a holster for it. At least three makers I deal with make belly bands that will work or they will make one. In addition to the companies mentioned by BoJackUSMC and Purer00r, Cooks holsters will make one as well.

It's a function of money, and ho realistic you are about seating a larger mass in an area that is compressible. The hard part is aside from the Sticky Holsters, and maybe a belly band no on is likely to stock that combination or take a return on a special order.

I use a Raven Concealment for the G19/XC1. Give them a call if you don't see it on their site. Works great.

I bought a kydex system from Mike (who does YT videos) for my G27 and he does G19 holsters with the surefire XC1.
            Link to his YT video;

A gun needs a firm fit into the holster custom designed for it, to prevent it from falling out if you go horizontal. A holster needs to be firmly attached to a gun belt, so the holster doesn't fall off if going horizontal.

Take a sticky holster to a Craig Douglas, Kyle Defoor, Mike Pannone or Jeff Gonzales concealed carry class, and see what their reaction will be. Heck, message them on Facebook and I'll bet they'll reply.

OP, Henry Holsters makes some really nice rigs. I have an OWB, but the build quality is top notch.
We have run them through very physical activity at Gunsite and others. I didn't say it was necessarily the best option, but it actually will stay put.

Well you have to assume that any attack could be vicious and difficult. you also tend to assume that the person being attacked has the physical health and strength to engage in the kind of training. I think the last time I checked the majority of OC CCW permits have been issue to a population averaging over 55 years old, and with health concerns. Let's be honest, how many people are going to carry a G19 appendix with a light.

By the way you would be surprised how many cops and feds carry in a Sticky off duty. Since I give a pretty good discount to LEO's I see a lot of badges. The undercover guys like them as well as belly bands we have custom made.

So I appreciate the concern I have personally seen them work. You can set it up to succeed or fail depending on what your wearing and the depth you set.

Have you tried one at the local dojo for fun?

Im carrying a G19/XC1 In the INCOG W/O the mag caddy AWIB, extra mag in a Mag Holder LLC horizontal.

I went with the 4 hole clips for more adjustment options.

TT Gun Leather said he can make a IWB for the G19/XC1, I'd need to send the light to him when he's ready though.

OWB I carry mine in a Raven Concealment...but this looks like a great IWB solution for G19/XC1: http://www.jmcustomkydex.com/p/XC1-IWB.html

I wish Surefire would put a DG switch on the XC1 though, that's all it needs to be perfect.

Well just like the bee can't fly but doesn't know it, there are things that don't seem rational but need to be tested. I have worked on a lot of programs and done things mostly in the military and space arena, that very knowledgeable people testified before congress was impossible, and we did it.

Some answers to very complex problems turned out to be very simple. So I appreciate your comments, and respect your expertise, but still challenge you to test your assumptions.

otherwise it's in the same pile as the only handgun round worth carrying is .45 ACP. Widely held, but data doesn't support it.

Here's another vote for the RCS Phantom. It,s the slimmest OWB kydex around, and can even be made IWB with some simple hardware and layout changes.
