Note about Petco Park from this weekend

So, I wanted to carry before and after the padre / giant baseball game on the 4th but took the light rail into town and did not want to leave the gun in the car in a muni parking lot. Great plan because traffic would have been horrible. It was a dilemma as I didn't know what was going to happen at Petco for the game and I wanted to honor their policy. If any day I thought this might be the day they wand people even if this wasn't their normal practice. I decided to leave the gun in the hotel room locked up.

they only visually checked any bags going into the stadium. Any ideas where I might have been able to lock up the gun before the game? Maybe the train station downtown in a locker? The do have courtesy lockers for bags at the stadium but that may have only been available after admission.

Usually there are room safes in hotels or a front desk safe system. Obviously the less expensive hotels often don't have the feature.

          Let me guess...Padres lost...

No hotel safe - timeshare condo but I really wanted to have it after the game for the 8 hours downtown with 500,000 of my closest friends before and after the fireworks.

Anyway, the Giants lost and Padres made it 5 wins in a row! what a turn of events for the Giants....
