Thanks, I was under the impression that the permit was a lot bigger than a standard ID slot.

Compared to a CC, about 1/8" wider and 1/4" taller.
I use a 3 fold wallet. It goes in with my business cards in the middle fold on the money side.....

I didnt mind the drive and thought it was worth it because it was a great class. And I preferred to just get it done all in one day.

10/1/2016 - took 1 day 16hr. ccw class @ Best Handgun Training in Lincoln. Highly recommended, Mike Davis was a great instructor.

11/14/2016 - Got "the call". Investigator just asked if anything has changed in the last year. Said app. going to sheriff's desk today and should get a call in a few weeks if approved.

Will keep you updated when I get approval and have permit in hand.

I had my renewal certification with Spartan Defense today. Great class as usual with Fidel. Don't see what problems you complainers have with him.

Sorry, not "trolling" him one bit.
A troll would have a recent forum join date as well as very few posts if any.

One note I will make in regards to the reason I took a basic handgun class. I should not have to address this, but every instructor I have ever used has required all new students to start from the bottom, I wouldn't ask a instructor to do it any differently.
If spartan accepts other instruction classes to allow students to start out taking intermediate or advanced classes, well, all the more reason I am happy using other instructors.

The consensus of our group of 5 was, we did not feel safe. Shame on us, and shame on me for voicing my opinion.

If you guys feel safe and like spartans instruction, good for you, that is your choice!

    Have a great day!
I agree, take as many different styles, classes as possible, I DO! There are instructors I have thought were garbage and some I really enjoyed. I am not naive enough to think 100% of my students will like me or my style. For one, I have been in the ****, so I teach from a more realistic mindset than most. Ill take 98% but keep striving for that 100%. Sorry you feel we failed you!
