Emailed the original investigator that handled my application 2yrs ago. Sent him all the info regarding my renewal and he said reach out to him about 30 days before my exp date and hes going to squeeze me in before my ccw lapse. So guys if your renewing reach out to your investagator that handled your original application or last renewal and they will most likely help you out. It a much easier process for them to process renewals then to handle you as a new applicant again if its lapse. Ill keep you guys posted on timeline and stuff as i move along.

I think at BC its a flat 100 if you do 1 or 6, if your just adding your better off going some els I think going rate is about 25 or 35 to add per pistol

To those of you who did the phone interview with this new covid office shutdown....

Is this phone interview just a replacement for the in-person interview? Did they tell you anything different about what the process or wait time is now?

Does anyone have a list of approved ccw training locations? My wife and I want to schedule a class together so we only have to get 1 baby sitter.

If you scroll down to TRAINING REQUIRED they have a pdf you can check out with all the locations. It's a little too much for me to just copy and paste but it's there

                      Hi everyone,
I’m a bit late on my applying for my CCW. And looks like it’s good that I waited. My wife was looking up CCW requirements just to see if anything’s changed and came upon this site showing that in the city of riverside, I would need to take a PSYCH evaluation. For those who have and live in the city of Riverside, is this correct? I know that through the county, we don’t. But through the city, is this a correct requirement?

Thank you everyone for taking the time to respond.

Don't bother with city of Riverside. Go through River County Sheriff's Department. It'll be a little faster (still several months) and cheaper. AND NO PSYCH EVAL!

Quick online application, type up your good cause in a paragraph there. Upload required documents, go take your class, and wait for your interview. Easy, just slow and impacted right now.

I see you're in menifee. Defensive tactics in fallbrook. Its virtual class then set you up for range.

So I'm ok to just go through the County Sheriff's Department then? My CCW will be honored while living in the city of Riverside? I just want to make sure.

Thank you everyone!!! Just wanted to try and save money. It's $150 extra to take that PYSCH eval. I'm fine with taking it. Just not fine with paying for it.
