Wow what's sad is that you applied exactly 3 weeks later than me whereas your Livescan was two months later than me. Considering that, I just wonder how the time gap is going to keep increasing as ACSO goes through the queue. This is just sad...

yeah I really feel for people that are far down the queue count, seems like it'll get worse before it gets better

Anyone done a modification to their CCW yet? I'm afraid to think about how long it will take to add a new firearm with their current speed of generating new permits..

Notice Alamedas site says 3 character references are now required. Not much details as what to send, but seems like one reference sees to be from the spouse, assuming your married and live together. Anyone update their permit in process to add?

seems like the move is to situate 3 pistols to put on your permit at the moment one is qualifying in order to avoid headaches later.

I will agree that this is the best course of action to avoid a potentially lengthy modification process to add a new firearm.

I guess I will be the test case and will report back with my findings.

Hopefully someone else has gone through a modification and can provide timing feedback.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the firearm I ultimately wanted when I qualified initially. When giving me the initial permit, Judea noted it may take upwards of 2 months or more from submitting the qualification paperwork to get an updated permit since they only process modifications after handling all the new applicant and renewing permit needs first. So I'll be keenly interested in others' experience!

Pysch eval this morning. Apparently I passed.

Anyone hear from the office since SB2? Do they have a list of available training classes and range qualifiers? Or is that all up in the air now.
Pleasanton CA, Citori 725 Trap Max, Benelli M2, SW 686, CZ 75, SP01, and others.

I don't know what ACSO is doing about SB2, but LEO Defensive Concepts in Livermore should continue to be an option since both Joe and Archie are POST certified. That said, as a reminder, ACSO doesn't want anyone initiating training until they're given you the green light and list of currently qualified vendors…

i read earlier that we can add more firearms to the application. Is there a good time where we can do that? maybe during first contact or interview?

Got email from Judea couple of hours ago that I passed Psych eval and I can move on to qual. Below list of the "approved vendors" as of today from that email.

Btw so you did your psych today and got email that you passed already? That's fast lol. Mine took a week 😂

I asked this question to the deputy during my interview. She said if you are adding any gun from the list of guns that they will confirm with you from your background check then all you have to do is just show up with the gun at the qual. But if you acquired a new gun or change something AFTER your interview and before the qual then you need to email Judea about it ASAP and make sure they are aware of the new gun that you want to add which wasn't there during your interview.

Yes, not a problem. Sent an email to Judy about adding a P365 to my license. She replied with a list of people to do the qual, you need to provide the weapon info to the range master, no class required, justyn live fire. I have a 1 year qual coming up, so I?ll do both at the same time to save costs.

Email to Judea with make model and S/N. When you get to qual they will verify info. Three weapons are now allowed on initial license with 70%.

When is the earliest you can renew? Is it 30 days before it expires? And we just need to use Permitium web again, no need to email Judea about it or about new firearm during this renew qual?
