Default Laugo Alien Review

Found this recent review on the Laugo Alien which just started shipping to US customers. Some interesting perspectives on how the low bore axis actually translates into felt recoil. Nice description on the trigger creep as well.

Interesting. I recall hearing about these a few years ago. It looks like they're also offering an adapter that should allow it to be CO legal--in the sense that the optic is "slide mounted".

I'm seeing prices online are around $5000. That's a bit much for a Carry Optics gun.

Thanks for the review link.

I had the opportunity to shoot one at the local range the other day. Gun belonged to an acquaintance that offered me the chance to send some rounds down range.
I will say, the felt recoil of the pistol was minimal and I did not feel any issues with the trigger. Overall it was very ergonomic for my hands.
If I had an extra $5k lying around, I would pick one up for fun.

I'm not paying $5k for a $600 gun. I don't care how good it is, their price is insane.

But you will be shooting hands down the most badass gun in production and carry optics. So there’s that.

The gun does NOT compare to any 600$ gun period. Poors and casual shooters won't understand that this is a competition pistol. It is Not a military firearm, not a user beater, not a weekend plinker, not a GLOCK. And not a PSA "just as good" mass production gun. It's a competition pistol. A firearm which is giving companies such as STI, Infinity, Atlas, Phoenix Trinity, and limcat a run for their money. Compared to said companies, 5k is more than reasonable. And performance wise, it holds up to the hype. If you can't justify 5k for a firearm, that's more than understandable life and budget are real things. But those who can accommodate such an expense will not be disappointed.

Shot one. I was greatly impressed. No appreciable muzzle rise, and this from a notoriously weak wristed shooter.

No matter what market it’s intended for, it’s a lotta bucks.

Doesn't the reviewer say he'd buy one at $2,800?

WAIT! I forgot the California off-roster premium
