Hey Calgunners. I am looking for a tutor in college physics. I am taking a college conceptual physics 130 at a junior college and it is online. However, I am having a difficult time understanding concepts. Anyone who is a recent college graduate or a college student who is interested in making a few bucks please message or text me. I need about 2-4 hours per week for the next 5 weeks til summer course is over. 20-25/hr depending on experience. Thanks
CK 562-773-9912 tutoring can be face to face or zoom or both. Thanks |

which concepts? In my experience once you get over the hump of THE FIRST FEW WEEKS of Algebra I the rest is all downhill, but its a big hump for many if not most.
I took Physics as an older adult and couldn't for the life of me figure out why the speed/mass/energy of two objects colliding before and after didn't add up to something equal (basic class so stuff like deforming on impact not considered) until FINALLY some guy tells me "the difference goes into heat of objects after colliding". I knew that happened in the real world but figured that was due to real world effects on real less than 100% rigid theoretical objects. AFAIK, lots of people including the top mechanics can draw a picture of a jet engine and THINK they know how it works but really don't know the math behind why the combustion doesn't just backfire into the intake compressor. Those equations are hairy and mind bending. Also my experience that tough concepts don't take lots of time or effort, just that one guy explaining it in a way you suddenly "Eureka!" about in 15 seconds or words. |
