AG Bonta releases report on CCW data leak

This whole thing *reeks* of the concept of plausible deniability. Like the original Miller decision. Just assign the work to a group that is clearly not going to do a good job, and just might result in the private data being made public. Apparently even Governor HairGel knew about the plan and could not contain his glee.

There was a piece in Forbes about 15 years ago about "Killer King", and how cops would direct ambulances to King/Drew Medical Center when the idea that the miscreants in the ambulance should end up dead. Just send the work to the worst performing hospital in the nation. The criminals would be killed "accidentally" by doctors in a hospital. Justice was served?

The same approach was used with the firearms database. I would not be surprised if some of the same people were involved.

I have a test I apply whenever anyone tells me anything. In the past, have they proven to be honest, trustworthy, credible, "of good moral character". If not, as in this case, I don't believe the AG or most anything this report concludes.
Bonta and his office is (under his direction) politically driven, oppressive re. law abiding firearms owners. He has no morals, no credibility, is not to be trusted, lies with impunity.
