Default M1 carbine stock repair

If this is the wrong place for this please delete or move, thanks.

My wife bought one of these $30 carbine stocks for me a while back. It's got some good metal on it namely a Standard Products flange plate.

Is this worth repairing? I'm not much of a wood worker or doing stock repairs.

Thanks for your input.

can be repaired but not really worth the trouble, especially if it’s just an M2 potbelly..unless you already have the repair materials and extra time.

I don’t have the material or the time. Maybe I’ll just strip of all the metal parts and toss the wood. If someone wanted to repair it and wanted it minus the metal they can have it.

I’ll probably look for someone to give it too. Don’t want to deal with selling it for what I could get for it. I just don’t want to throw it away.
