In Dec. I picked up a used Glock 23 but did not have time to take it out till recently. I haven't shot a 23 for 11 years.

Anyways below it took me a bit to get used to the kick of the 165 gr. Win JFP at 10 yards.

I was a bit better with 180 gr. loads also at 10 yards.

The 180 gr. loads at 15 yards.

Put the .45's away early to get to know the M9 a little better.

10 rounds at 7 yards. Beretta M9 with Federal 115gr.

Overall, I like it. The sights took some getting used to. Will run it out a little farther after I get more consistent with it.

back to back 5 round head shots groups at 15 yds with the G17 gen 4. Ive shot tighter groups at that distance but usually with a smaller POA.

P320: First ten at seven yards.

P320: Forty or so at seven yards. Two-handed isoceles and weaver from both sides, one-handed isoceles from both sides, and right-handed bullseye.

Rental TRP and P320: 8 and 20, respectively, at 17 yards. I really want a TRP now, haha.

Default First time shooting my Kahr!

Top to bottom, left to right, the first 200 rounds from my Kahr. Targets 1-3 are at 7 yards, the 4th target is at 15 yards, all shots approximately 2 seconds apart par magazine.

It's certainly not a target pistol, and I'm still learning how to shoot properly, but for being stock, I'm very happy with it. No failures within the first 200 rounds.

I am better with a full size Glock than a baby Glock...but I still love it just the same. The shorter sight picture, shorter grip, and lighter overall package takes some getting used to.

First time shooting my Glock 26 9mm...

Glock 17 9mm results...the marks beyond the 9 ring are tears not hits...wish I could say the same of the Glock 26 target above.

Here a GI bring back Colt from 1946. Nickel plated some time long ago. Two targets at 10 yards, 15 rounds of 230 gr. ball a piece.

^nicely done!

Took my Glock 30s out for the first time today. Very happy with it. I'm as accurate as I was with my 21 and the recoil is VERY manageable for a compact .45

Here is my most recent outing at USI in Concord. Les Baer TRS, offhand at 15 yards. 4.5 grains of Bullseye under a 200g. polymer coated LSWC.

Thrifty is why I got them! I do a lot of shooting so it just makes sense. I get the stickers from Amazon here - http://www.amazon.com/Round-Black-Co...stickers+black

I think between the stickers and the paper plates, it comes out to something like .03 per target.

Nice shooting :thumbups:

There's only one person I've seen at USI shoot like that, we might have crossed paths there and talked reloading a bit. I remember he had a Baer, but it didn't have the forward cocking serrations.

This one?

That is my Permier II, 25 yards offhand as well. That is a tack driver.

That's got to be the one. I'm not ashamed to admit seeing your targets made me want to try harder and push myself. Great to see someone with a really nice 1911 making jagged holes in targets at will

Also thanks again for the reloading tips. I didn't have as much luck with SWC in my Kimber, but I found a mild load with 230gr RN it seems to really love. I'll give the SWC bullets a try again at some point

I posted this here somewhere, but this was at USI on the 15 yard line. Have a ways to go to be as consistent, but I was pretty proud of these 5 shots:

That is very good shooting. Practice makes perfect. Your Kimber should eat up LSWC's with a bit of tinkering. PM me if you would like some help. I have yet to see a 1911 that didn't eat them up.

2 (9) rd mags, head & mass, 10 yards off hand muscle memory with at least 1 double tap.

BTW I bought these targets at this location for .06 cents each. Got 100, they were close outs and I guess they have these occasionally. 1st time there and no affiliation. Worth the drive or call ahead.
