Looking for rifle-sized shipping boxes
I'm liquidating a collection and am in need of shipping boxes for rifles. I'm in the SF North Bay and sometimes travel to the SF South Bay. Let me know what you have and what you need for them...thanks

Order some from U-Line if you can. They have them in a 52x8x4 which works great for shipping rifles.

I used boxes that were originally for golf clubs. They worked great. I placed foam and bubble wrap around each and 100% of all my long guns arrived unmolested.

I second this. Shipping might be as much as the boxes, but should cost you around $5 per rifle. I usually order 25 or 50 at a time from them. Also, the boxes measure 52" long, but most shippers will charge you oversize fees once you past 48". I usually cut the boxes down to match the rifle and packing, and you can save significantly on shipping if you dont need the box to be over 48".

If you're in the North Bay check with 29 Outdoors. They may not specifically save them for you, but I'm sure you'll find a crap ton in their recycling bin..
