Default Bausch & Lomb Kuharsky Bros mounts and scopes

I see how to do adjustments to zero for left/right but not how to adjust/zero for elevation.

Also, cant find any pics of the various reticle patterns used in the Baltur scopes.

http://www.bauschandlombscopemounts....com/scopes.htm

There's a phone number listed. That may help.
I have no first hand info about these scopes/mounts. Just putting up info I found.

Quote:
Bausch & Lomb Custom Scopes with external adjustments are quickly inter-changeable from rifle to rifle. The adjustments are in the mount, not in the scope. With each rifle equipped with mount bases, it is necessary to zero in just once. Then the Bausch and Lomb Custom Scope can be switched from rifle to rifle without tools whenever desired and be in exact zero on each rifle.

No matter how hard the Bausch & Lomb Custom Scope is jarred or banged, it will instantly return to zero. A unique V-block and spring mounting instantly returns the scope to zero no matter how far the blow throws it off.

HE Gibbs I've been all over. It's a defunct site and disconnected phone.

Thanks for the add link.

Still don't see how to do elevation adjustments.

Hover your mouse over the image on the left and it explains how the elevation works on the mount. "windage and elevation in mount" The "spools" look like they provide some camming action to lift the scope tube.

Interesting. I appreciate your efforts here. I did not see these ads before

My base does not look like those. I have a fixed "V" in the front and a "spool" in the back which does move for windage.

Also, I never heard of the clip on iron sight option! Gonna have to see if I can find one of those now, just because.

Interesting. So it turns out my spool is dual action. The right hand screw adjusts for windage and the left hand screw has a calming action for elevation adjustment of about 6 MOA.

I hope it's enough. Scope come Friday.

Glad that got sorted out. Looks like a real robust mount.

Well, got the scope mounted. Bolt hits the ocular.

Anyway, not enough adjustment range to boresight.

Pisser.

Well, I got it sorted out by using a 2.5x Baltor scope which has a slightly smaller OD eyepiece.

Never mind.

I just saw it on the centerfire section. Very nice.
