SEO Company recommendation?
Does anyone use a SEO company that actually gets results?
NOT looking for a company that tells me how great they are......looking for a actual recommendation from someone using a company that they're happy with. Thanks! |

The ones always trying to sell us have moved on to AdWords optimization and campaigns.

Whoever is hosting your site should be able to provide you free advice or even optimization for a fee. Personally, I don't think an outside agency is needed to provide SEO optimization unless your (or employee) time is worth a lot of money.

Making sure the technical SEO house in order is a more important area of concern than short tail keywords. Well written content structured in semantic html elements that is pertinent to the search query will outperform keyword stuffed articles nearly every time. But it needs the basics in order first and the content needs to be crawlable. If you're not checking your search console routinely how are you aware of indexing or sitemap issues? Google announced that core web vitals such as cumulative layout shift, first meaningful paint, time to interactive, etc., will become ranking factors in 2021. Have you tried to rank content in a competitive field? It takes a blend of art and technology to do so successfully. Sure there is a lot of snake oil in the SEO industry, but it exists for a reason and not to just part people from their money. Tools such as Ahrefs and Semrush while not cheap are a huge help in finding issues and opportunities. Last edited by 12lbRooster; 11-21-2020 at 6:53 PM.. |

We used Madwire360 ..they werent cheap, but got yuuge results.
Their costs ended up being about 5% of the sales they drove to us. Cheaper than a salesman, and no headaches. We were in about $1,250/month. Then bean counter said, hey, lets go somewhere else for $500/mo! We will save soo much money. Now, we get 0 business from our site, or maybe 3% of the traffic/calls. We are a contractor

Like many others have already said, a few exceptional keywords using AdWords should provide good results. Unless SEO has changed drastically the past 20 years, I set aside $400/mo using AdWords for my business (property management) - best advertising investment I made. FWIW, when I increased my AdWords budget to $600/mo during a winter period, my sales increased even further. Bing, Yahoo - worthless.
Comes down to keywords and your AdWords budget. Money talks, ....walks.
