Up for trade is my 686-4 Plus (7-Shot) from 1996 in its original box.
I acquired it from a gentleman who purchased it new - he said he fired less than a box of ammo then cleaned it and never touched it after that. I have never fired it. The gun functions perfectly and is like new.

Some would say the -4 is the pinnacle of the 686 series of revolvers.
It has all the benefits of engineering that led up to it, including the updates that caused the recall for the no dash and -1.
The -4 is the first with available 7-shot cylinder and the only with the hammer mounted firing pin and 10-groove serrated backstrap. Also the -4 is drilled and tapped from the factory so you can easily mount a scope or red dot.
The -5 brought some cost cutting including the floating firing pin with flat face hammer and metal injection molding of the trigger, also smooth backstrap. The -6 and later all have the internal lock (Hillary Hole).

This gun is already represented in my collection so I am willing to trade it for an equally interesting gun +/- cash.
I am mainly interested in pre-lock Smith & Wesson or Colt revolvers including 17, 19, 25, 27, 29, 66, 520, 547, 581, 586, 617, 625, 627, 629, 648, 681, 686, 696, Mountain Guns, Anaconda, Python. Would also consider Walther P88 variations, Colt Woodsman or Desert Eagle.
If you have something else that is unique let me know, worst I can say is no.

I have a desert eagle 50 AE with about 300 speer bullets and starling brass for reloading. I reloaded about 40 rounds and found a good load combination. I mounted a burris fastfire 3 to the pirating rail without modifying the gun. I can shoot bowling pins at 100 yards.
