Didn't want to mod my 19X at all, so I found a picatinny mount comp/optic mount and a magwell that didn't need the funky lower frame modified to use it...both simple bolt ons ...to make the 19X back to stock in seconds.

Made in USA baby !!

Interesting. How does it shoot? I've seen a lot of race guns set up in a similar fashion, the idea of having (supposedly) faster follow up shots since the optic isn't reciprocating with the slide. What is the knurled platform in front of the optic for?

Just received today, hopefully try it soon.
Don't have to mess with spring weights either, no threaded barrel means no extra weight on the slide cyclic motion...and they sure do a nice machining job too.
Optic stationary should have that benefit for sure, the knurling is supposed to cut down on glare for the optic...break up any relections.

I'm a simple guy. I like to polish stuff on the inside and get rid of the plastic (started with the spring rod and the slide back plate, will probably continue with the trigger)

My ongoing pursuit to find the mythical Glock "perfection" *

Ive had nice 1911's like Dan wesson and Trp Operators, ive had multiple sigs, and over the years I always find myself going to my old Gen 3 19.

Agency Syndicate slide
Timney trigger
Zev titanium pins that I anodized
Silicon carbide grip
And a glock 34 slide release

Well that is certainly different.

Never thought I'd see a Glock with an "old west" feel to it.

Chromium nitride finished slide. I wanted something similar to NP3.

Was rummaging thru my gun safes and found a NIB G19 in the back collecting dust I had no idea I even bought. Not a big fan of aftermarket parts due to sometimes needing hand fitting, or just not 100% reliable as stock. Found a new MOS slide for sale with ameriglo night sights for not much more then it would cost to build out a complete aftermarket slide which may be hit or miss and possible holster fitment issues. Purchased a glock performance trigger, oem extended mag release, tlr-7... Gotta figure out what optic to get. I'll let my gen 3s take a rest

Default Bought my first Glock

First Glock. G19 Gen 5. Bought it at a gun show (had to feel it in my hand) after reading Glock reviews online. Not sure about a red dot or better sights yet. Want to see how it feels from the factory first. Have some Gucci gold Tyrant CNC upgrades on the way.

Bought a hacked up G19.3 frame. Took a dremel to it and used a wood burner to do what I could. The old stippled was done all the way up to the pins so had to choice. Came out ok compared to what it was before

Got my Loki Tactical Slide on it. Cerakote was done by Sagisi Customs back when he did camo jobs.
