Default Henderson Defense AK-101

My AK-101 with Samson quad rail and LaRue 2-point sling. Samson replaced Leapers (UTG) rail, no comparison for quality.

WASR-10, still trying to figure out how to drop the red dot sight down. I've posted this before, but want to add to the collection of awesome AKs in this thread!

Galils and Valmets are awesome refined Kalashnikovs! I never picked up any Galils back in the day because they were always more expensive than everything else; I regret it now. I did pick up a bunch of Valmets, though; they were cheaper than anything else.

Valmet M-82 Bullpup is not on the list. I have one but sent it out of state before the last registration deadline; didn't want to register anymore guns. I'm thinking of maybe making a bullet button for it and bringing it back in.

took a look at one back in the day at good olde B&B, price $400.00. awkward too handle and butt ugly too. I not to fond of bullpups, just don`t like my face being right next too the ejector port. that being said I was considering buying one of those AUGS they had on the wall. that the one I regret not buying.

My favorites and a little about them.
Arsenal AR SF 762x39 parts kit on a firing lane receiver, built by the firing lane.

Norinco BWK92, rebarreled with a preban polytech barrel by Red Jacket.

i thought that wouldn't matter since the mag is outside the grip anyway? I didn't think you could build a featureless pistol

Yeah, that's where I got mine; they were blowing them out for $299 and half the price of the AUG so I picked one up. Nice shooter and typical Valmet quality.

Wow, I did not know that exsisted, thanks. Can't say I'm really hooked though. Looks like it's a little short of OAL, and that by far is the weirdest sighting system I've ever seen.

Until the CA AW ban is eliminated, a pistol with the magzine well outside of the grip is an AW feature. An AK pistol MUST have a mag lock (with a 10 rounder) at all times. There is no such thing as a featurless AK pistol.

Judging by the pics, it the actual Bulgy '74 folding stock evident by the push button mech utilized by the receiver. Nice build 69mach1!!!

Nope. That is a genuine AK 74 side folding stock, but it's locked in the open position.

RPB sells the fakes, but they are not the maker. It's actually an FSE "Krinkov" fixed stock. There were 3 or 4 versions. There was a version for the standard stamped AKM and the thicker Chinese AK. They were also made in both aluminum and plastic (zytel?). The more desirable and harder to find version is the aluminum one. Here is an actual FSE aluminum stock on my Romanian SAR1 "Khyber Pass" clone.

Wow, these are some great looking rifles. I'm just finishing putting mine together. I'll be taking it out to Frontsight in Pahrump, Nevada for a 4 day rifle course to get things dialed in. I have a once in my lifetime opportunity to sponsor a 40 person rifle class at Frontsight. See my post in Commercial Sales and Good Deals. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=205793

Hope to get some more AK-47 shooters with me so we can show others what 7.62 x 39mm can do.

Of course if your friends and family shoot the AR-15 platform their welcome too.

Wanted to add another picture of some cool "trench art". I just picked up these Yugo Handguards.

Any idea what kind of canon that might be?

It's a Henderson Defense AK-101, which is just a NDS-3 receiver and Yugo parts kit.

Didn't want to register it??? But you'd be allowed to use pre-ban high caps legally on that thing with detachable mags and everything! But I understand not wanting the Cali government having you on another list.
