Renting hunting gear/guns

I’m looking to take my son on a guided hunt. We need to rent guns for the hunt. If you know of a hunting service that provides gun rentals please drop me a line.

Find the guide service that interests you and talk to them.

You will pay some good money for a guided hunt. You might want to think about buying something like a Ruger American Rifle...they are affordable and can be had with scopes already mounted. Check with your preferred guide to see what caliber you need.

And don't forget to sign up and take a Hunters Safety class....you will need that to get a hunting license.

There are guides out there that will oblige. I would personally recommend picking up a low cost rifle (savage axis, Ruger American, etc) so you and your son can get some trigger time. You'll be able to sell it afterwards for close to what you paid, especially if you pick up used copies. Personally I would want to be fully confident in my ability to put the bullet where it needs to go before pulling the trigger.

Only way I would rent a rifle is if traveling international and had to deal with a bunch of BS paperwork and risk confiscation. Just buy a rifle, you can find the money.
