There's another big one burning just north of Barton Flats in the San Bernardino National Forest. Hope they have enough air assets to go around. So far it looks like 4 fixed wing and 5 rotor wing on it now.

I live right down State near the turn where it becomes Cactus Flats. Evacuation orders are in effect, and I couldn't go home Monday night after work. Last night, the roads were open and was able to come home. The fire was right on the ridge Monday. but now looks to be heading back east by south east away from us. I have animals and thankfully my landlord is a stubborn SOB and told the cops to stuff it, they ain't leaving. Everything is fine down here, but the smoke is bad. I am a little worried leaving for work today and not being able to come back home.

Update.

I made it home around 1am tonight, it's not getting better. Luckily I am off for the next 2 days and will stay as long as I safely can. I have my go bag ready in the truck and all my firearms, documents ready to go. Just have to throw in the cats and myself. The fire is spreading faster down south towards Sage and east towards the mountain side.

What streets I know are closed.

Domenigoni at Sanderson
State at Thornton
Stetson at Buena Vista
Sage and Red Mountain
74 at Willowbrook
74 at the 243.
Fairview is shut down but I don't know how far north.

Wilson Valley is shut as of 10pm Wednesday.

Right now they are not letting anyone in unless you have an address on your license and have to evacuate someone. Even then, it's a tough call whether or not they will send one of their own. No reports of perished livestock or pets yet according to the captain I spoke too.

This photo is in my backyard, I apolgize for the potato quality my iPhone is horrible at night. That ridgeline is roughly 5-7 as the crow flies from me.

Another update!

As of 12pm South of Rawson Rd, East of Washington St, North of Borel Rd, East of Rancho California, East of Anza Rd, North of Temecula Parkway (HWY79), Northwest of 371 and West of 74 is now under Evacuation Warning.

East of De Portola Rd, west of Sage Rd, North of East Benton Rd, and South of Diamond Valley Rd are under Mandatory Evacuation.

Currently the fire is at 19,000 acres and still 5% containment.

As for my area, the smoke is thick and ash is currently falling from the sky. The ridge line in my previous photo no longer has noticeable flames or fire. I believe the fire is moving rapidly to the South East and will continue until containment and/or topography limits its movement. If you have loved ones in the area that are affected and need to place animals in a shelter, San Jacinto Animal Shelter is giving free boarding to small pets. They are open and available with plenty of room. There was a gentlemen who was offering free boarding for livestock on his ranch, but I am unsure if he was affected by the new evacuation orders.

I was driving thru Hemet this afternoon and saw a caravan of fire engines from numerous cities and counties heading toward the 10 presumably to go home. Engines from Torrance, Calipatria, and even Yuma!

Travis County had their water dropping helos out for us too. I appreciate and thank every single first responder who is out here helping us to be safe and secure.

I don't see any smoke near my place, nor do I have helicopters flying over. They lifted some of the evacuation orders, but not for us up here, not sure why.

Anyone know where I can find active road closures for this?

Last Thursday I tried driving home from Escondido to Palm Desert thru the 79/74 thru Anza, but then got turned around at a roadblock in Aguanga on the 371. Id made that drive jist the night prior. That closure wasn't anywhere to be found online at the time.

Is there a live or up to date listing of related closures?

I also use the Caltrans Road Information website: https://roads.dot.ca.gov

And they have a phone number that you just type in the highway number and the recorded message will give you the current situation. I have this one in my cell phone contacts for when I am on the road:
