If it had happened again...
OK, so... it's almost been a month now since Million Mag March! Most of us have taken delivery of our beautiful freedom pods and are happily enjoying them.
But alas, it's no more. Assuming you're a law abiding citizen, what you got is what you got. Suppose it happened again. April 25th, news gets out that it is LEGAL to once again, buy/possess/import/manufacture standard and large capacity magazines once again. And it's likely to, once again, only last a few days. What would you buy that you didn't get the first time? |

Mags of all sorts that I could pass to family and friends on the last day of the new window. They are constantly asking if there will be another chance (soon) to jump on the boat. Seems even with me giving them the info on day 1 they missed that window and did not buy for who knows what ever reasons.

probably a few more 10/22 bx-25 mags and that is really it.
at this point, i'm pretty ok for magazines for the guns i own. i'm sure someone will say it isn't enough if SHTF comes around, but for my uses and budget, it is a good inventory level.

Unfortunately this won’t happen unless something from the SCOTUS happens, prepare for 9th circuit disappointment.
That being said if it did happen again I’d buy more speculation magazines for the guns I don’t have yet. |

Make sure you all have a copy of this “Freedom Week” DOJ communication to LE in your range bag and please pass the link along!

Two of my shooting buddies knew about it early sat morning the 30th. one bought 10 5.56 30 rd mags. the other bought nothing. SUCKS TO BE THEM!!! I wouldn't buy them **** since they were too lazy to take action. I'd buy nothing but drums and then mags for guns I don't own yet. Last edited by paddyraid; 04-28-2019 at 3:56 AM.. |

I had all the mags I wanted before the freedom week, though fw didn't impact me as we left CA last year. But I was good to go before the move (left more mags for you)
I still have A LOT of mags I haven't tested. My only regret is not selling the 10 round PX4 mags I have. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Last edited by wpod; 04-28-2019 at 6:09 AM.. |

But.... with that, it would be foolish for the State of California to think that the gun laws they have amassed on the books have done anything other than create a black market, which very much exists, and take otherwise normally Johnny-be goods and push them towards accepting more risk because the laws are not just and they are unconstitutional. Some are openly defiant, others think they are being clever, even more know to keep their mouths closed and fingers off the keyboard. I am not sure why many members of the CGN community feel compelled to ask what others have or would have gotten. Equally perplexing is the open discussion of what you have or don't have for everyone to read. Look, we all know what happened. We all know when it happened.... let it be.

I would probably get something belt fed.
That is about the only thing I did not get. I bought "over" 70 magazines I did, however, buy lots and lots of magazines for guns I don't even own yet. Believe it or not I don't own an AR15 or AR10, but I bought plenty o Benitezines in a variety of flavors, 20's, 30's, 50 round drums :0)~ 5.7 Mags, Kel tec CP33 .22 mags, GSG 110 round .22 Drums for my 10/22 and 50 round Black dog drums for my 15-22, Wilson Combat edc x9 15 rd mags, Beretta 92 mags, etc, etc. I've scanned, and printed out my invoices in the unlikely event I would ever need them. I did later buy a CZ shadow 2 that I bought Benitezines for during freedom week. I think my next purchase will be a WC EDC X9 if I can find one at a decent price. The only thing I got screwed on was ordering 2011 magazines from Brownells, they totally dropped the ball and I was not able to buy 100% all new ones. Overall, I have very few regrets. I jumped on this hard that first Friday night |

If it happened again, I would be able to sell off some of the mags I overbought on, and pick up some Magpul 308 mags, and some CZ Scorpion mags.
I spent too much money buying standard 30 rd Pmags when I should have diversified the mag portfolio. |

Spend more on magazines for sig 357 sig, 10mm, HK mag, 308 drum
The Glock 19 is really hard to shoot, the grip angle is not right, trigger pull too heavy, failure to extract/limp wrist. Proof I own the best pistol though. Bought it after the mag. |

sig mags / usp9 mags... i thought id not miss features from my USP45, but glock just feels not right...
granted, at the time I was thinking 12 rounds vs 15 or 17. and well thought may as well get the glock. I should have at least picked up 1 P229 mag since it has DA/SA and decocker or USP9 or any of that. Last edited by TheHolyLancer; 05-31-2019 at 1:29 AM.. |

No more drums. They were duds and fell apart. I’d buy more mags, fun sticks and different brands too

Uh, magazines? I don’t have any magazines. Don’t have any firearms that need them either.
And if I did, I would not list them here in a post the DOJ would love to troll through... Last edited by Colt; 06-01-2019 at 10:04 PM.. |

Probably should have thought long and hard about what I may buy in the near future. I wish I would have bought mags for Glock 19, P365, P226 9mm, 6.8 SPC... If I spent the time, I'm sure I'd come up with more.
