Default Ruger MK IV Competition

Just finished putting together my Ruger Mk4. Has Volquartsen internals and Tandemkross trigger, with a 6 MOA Viper and Volquartsen compensator. Shoots the centers out of clays at 50 yards...when I do my part, that is.

Just need to take off the right side safety and shave down the left side because it's too easy to accidentally engage during shoots.

6MOA on a target pistol? Weird.

Yea, I can't see the smaller dots well in sunlight. I have a 3 MOA on my Canik and it's great unless I am in the full sun. The 6 seems to be a good middle ground for me. Doesn't obscure too much, but big enough for me to see in the outdoors. If I am indoors I just reduce brightness to make the target more visible.

Thumbs up Mark IV Competition

Great looking Ruger nice work. What mount are you using for the red dot almost looks
Like part of the receiver. Thank you, Michael

It's made by Lobos Industries. Here's the link. It's nearly seamless when installed and despite being aluminum it matches the stainless steel well.

I tracked down that Lobo mount just in time to come back here and find that you'd already posted it. Doh!

I've got one on the way for my KMK678 CT with all of the Volquartsen goodies.

Nice! I am really happy with it so far. It's way cleaner looking and lower profile than just slapping a picatinny rail on it and rail mounting the optic. Post a pic of yours when you get the mount installed.

OP, that is sweet. I have the Mk IV 22/45 version that I took out for the first time a week or so ago. Now I am super jealous of your setup.
