Your friend's view sounds like new age spiritualism. Perhaps you believe it too. But it contradicts my Christian worldview.

Christians pray to God, a person. We don't engage in just positive thinking, which is what your friend seems to be positing.

We don't believe in the healing, we believe in the God who heals.

We don't have faith in the healing. We have faith in God who heals.

To me that's the difference.
