Browning BDA380 trigger spring
Anyone out there have one of these?
Looking to buy. |
John looks like your a gunsmith which is good to know as a reference. The Browning BDA is basic Beretta 84 series Double stack 380 ACP right? I would like to imagine Wolff is flush with springs for those pistols ,unless there’s something different about the Browning I’m unfamiliar with.

The spring is a double loop set at 90° so that it pushes north and east at the same time. It was discontinued a few years ago.

Look like this? Jack First shows for 9mm/.45, don't know if it will work for you.

No...but thanks for looking

I believe these were made by Beretta. Would not a Beretta 84 or 85 spring work?
https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-man...s/84-cheetah-2 They are also perhaps difficult to find but maybe easier if you are casting a wide net looking for Beretta parts. Is this it? https://d1zzd228d7bvdx.cloudfront.ne...cts/893680.jpg |
That sure looks like it. I'll try to find one and give it to try. Thanks
|
You may have to make one, they may be hard to find. Do you have an original one to copy or blueprint?
I would also call Beretta, it wasn't long ago they were still selling Cheetahs. I bought a new one back in 2016 Also AFAIK the 82,84,85,87 all use that spring |
Original spring was destroyed by owner when HE installed backwards .
|
That's some kind of spring.

Doesn't look like that Spring is in any of those Links??

Thanks everyone for the response. My customer is going to buy a "package of parts" that has the spring included.
