Email notofication of new thread posts.
Just getting started with the Marketplace. I subscribed to a thread. How do I get an email notification when something new is posted to the thread?
Thanks for any help.Last edited by crashermike; 12-17-2019, 10:04 PM.Comment

When you subscribe to a thread, there is a drop down menu box where you can select the type of notification. Instant Notification by Email is what you would most likely want to choose.Originally posted by Sierra57Civil War 2.0 - If it comes to pass, the America-hating Leftists will have brought it upon themselves. Hello. Thanks for approving my request to join. Please don't take it personal that I don't remove the mask after I'm done singing. You can call me Transient, because that's what I am. And, that's all that matters. I'm a military spouse. My wife is active duty. She has orders to San Diego effective August 2020. I'm a veteran, and enjoy my firearms. I use to enjoy working on cars, but it became too physically demanding for somebody with a broken back and a bad left hip. Now I pay somebody to change my oil. I'll just sit at the kitchen table and build my firearms from the frame up. Btw, I'm also a multi-disciplined firearms instructor and have worked with police departments in some of the largest cities in the county in holster retention in hand to hand combat scenarios and use of force of firearms in high stress scenarios.
I'm aware California is "jacked up" worse than 48 other states in the country (Hawaii seems to be the only state that beat California in that race). It was either California or DC. I would've had more freedom in DC, but knowingly requested we take the orders for San Diego. Why? My wife and I are originally from Utah. 11 years of being east of the Mississippi was enough to be done with it. This gets both my wife and I closer to family. After unexpectedly losing my mother to lung cancer in November it was apparent we were too distant with our family members. Mut mother died while I was driving cross country.
I've been reading up on things like how to get a CCW in San Diego (it'll be interesting to see how a resident is defined under the law), importation of firearms, etc. It's clear to me California forgets members of the military are married. My wife isn't into guns. She's a noncombatant. I'm the gun owner in my house. There's no base commander to get a signature from, no denial/approval for me to do a large number of things, etc. Lots of grey area to murk through. My wife and I have maintained our residency in the state we're from during her entire career, and it'll stay that way while we're in California. In 3 years we'll be headed somewhere else, this we're transients.
I'm a firm believer that enemies of the COTUS should be dealt with in an aggressive and public manner, but there's no need for me to dive into that since this a family forum. Just recognize from the outside it looks like the inmates took over the asylum, and I'm pissed off about it. Unfortunately, the disease jumped and went viral, and ended up affecting Virginia.
For the record, I speak directly. It avoids confusion. It's not an act. Please don't be offended by it. Hurt feelings are the result of being direct. I don't enjoy puffing when describing things, so I won't do it to you.
Anyways, I need to get back to figuring out if I should plan a boating accident, or if my firearms self-identify as wall art. Maybe I'll buy some land on the Arizona side of the state line and open an att gallery. I'll talk to you guys later. Good night.
As for the mad mommies suckling from Bloomberg's teet who lurk this forum, I'm still waiting for that gun safety you all keep preaching about. I've heard rumors about trigger locks and safes. I could use several for the protection of my 3 kids. Until you actually provide a gun safety class, get out of the way of the only organization that does -- The NRA.Last edited by Transient; 01-03-2020, 1:27 AM.Comment
