Marin County a Second Amendment Sanctuary. We have it already. However for our sheriff it means there is no Second Amendment in this county.

Not sure if there will be an election or if the last candidate that lost to Bosenko will fill his shoes.

Just having a Sheriff say the county is a 2A sanctuary is worth nothing if the local DA is not on board as well.
If a city or state...CHP, CalFire, Fish &Game, etc., officer arrests you for a AW or other gun related charge, and the DA prosecutes you....who cares what the sheriff says?

Smith in Santa Clara Co and Ahern in Ala Co are both issuing right now at a Light Red GC standard. Right now, we need people with a Yellow GC justification to apply in Santa Clara to find out if she'll issue to them. - the first thing he says is "Self defense is good cause in our county"
- the second thing he says is "I support the 2A"
- the third thing he says is "here's what I CCW, tell me about your guns?"
- that's the way the whole state should be
- To those of you in other counties, don't give up hope, there are REAL Sheriffs in CA who the people love and vice versa

The Sheriff voters in LA County elected has sided with illegal aliens and has bragged the county lost federal funding because he will not hold criminal aliens for ICE.
