I apply for a ccw in San Joaquin county which is where I live but I work in the Bay Area. Anyone know if I would be deny because of this reason ?

I used to work with a couple guys from San Joaquin County that worked exclusively all over the bay area. They both said that they had to bring in copies of the work policy on weapons (that company got so big that they had a no weapons policy) and were told not to carry in work vehicles or at work.
