    Living and working in different county

    I apply for a ccw in San Joaquin county which is where I live but I work in the Bay Area. Anyone know if I would be deny because of this reason ?

    Can’t imagine why. I work on a different continent and have my ccw here in Ca.

      I am in the same situation as you. I live in RC and work in SBC. No problem, never came up.

          Issuance is based on place of residence, not place of employment.

          If you live in a 2A county and obtain your CCW, the license is valid statewide.
          Benefactor Life Member, National Rifle Association
          Life Member, California Rifle and Pistol Association

            Live in Orange County and Los Angeles (working address) is printed right on my permit.

              I used to work with a couple guys from San Joaquin County that worked exclusively all over the bay area. They both said that they had to bring in copies of the work policy on weapons (that company got so big that they had a no weapons policy) and were told not to carry in work vehicles or at work. They were issued permits though.

                Same for me but my work address is in SBC. Printed on permit.
