Do you need a Real ID to purchase a handgun there?

In Ca you need additional proof of residency. Also citizenship or visa.

I have my 2nd form of id. So do they ask for real id? I asked rifle gear and they said yes. Real id is required. My Ca license expires next june and i will get the real id then. I don't travel so in no need to get one.

As long as it doesn't say "Federal Limits Apply" and isn't expired it is good to go.

I think you can get by using a Pass Port.
