INFORCE APL

Love this light! Lightweight, ambidextrous paddle switch, momentary on and stay on depending on how you push the paddle. I have one for each of my rail guns.

My plain Jane P226R(non-LCI)

And my newly acquired MK25(also non-LCI). I picked her up 3 weeks ago. She's still a virgin, so I need to take her out on a date at the range.

How did you get it without the LCI?

Question for you P226 guys. I tried shooting one and went through 10 rounds and couldn't even hit the paper target at 7 yards out. Tried a Beretta 92FS right after and got consistent groupings near dead center.

Both guns were indoor range rentals and I lined up the sights the same way. Think the sights on the P226 were crooked or do I just suck with the Sig?

Problems can easily be contributed to a "rental" firearm. Who know what damage has incurred due to numerous factors

if a range rental could speak, it's first words might be… 'why me?'

At 7 yards there is no way the sights could be off so much that you wouldn't be on paper. Unless the sights were broken, it's shooter error.

I highly doubt its shooter error. Sig is one of the easiest and most forgiving pistols out there. Im pretty sure he had a jacked up rental.

before I got my SP2022 I rented a 226, 229 and 2022. Same sight picture on all and had much different groupings... some top right, some low right. I now know I need work. But the guy at the range says those things probably see 200 rounds a day and have passed the drop test multiple times.

If you rent a gun for testing it, pay attention to the feel in your hand and the feel of the trigger pull as well as the action during firing. That's the most important.

maybe the Beretta is just a better fit for you.

Had a chance to shoot a P229 and same results as the P226. Could not hit the target at 7 yards. Was shooting WAY too low. Sig makes nice guns, but they're just not for me.

SIGs use 'combat sights'. Many new SIG shooters shoot low until they raise the front sight to cover the target.

It will fit both Picatinny rail and Glock accessory rail. Comes with a part to swap out. I would imagine it would, but I don't have a SP2022 to try it.

I love the finger groove Hogues on my P220. Not sure how that works with the E2 grips.

Congrats on the 227. And the nice weaponlight. (TLR-1 HL on mine)
