Default Holy Smokes Batman, that's heavy!

Just reloaded 100 rounds of 175gr SMK and its 6 lbs, 9 oz! Now I know why the military chose the M4 (5.56) as the primary weapon. With a 13 lb .308 AR, mags, and all your other gear...people do underestimate the weight of such a system

I cant even imagine 300 Win Mag or 338 LP.

That's hot!

I need to bump up my projectile stash for .308 now...

they shoot well out my my 1:10 twist LR-308, and I want the option to reach out to 800 yards no problem.

Plus, I scored a lot of pulled 175gr 118LR rounds.

There is actually (60) of the 118LR pulled and (40) of the 175 SMK in this batch.

Yikes, that had to be expensive freight. All of my bullet suppliers (and most brass suppliers) use USPS and exploit the flat rate shipping. My postal carrier hates me.

People never realize how much things weigh when they talk about bugging out with ammo.

1k rounds of 230gr 45 ACP is heavy as heck. Lugging 100 rounds of .308 to the range give me incentive to shoot them all there so I don't have to carry them back.

I was just curious never had any luck with bullets heavier than 168gr in my 308's. The millitary style rifles seem to love 150 to 158 and my more traditional hunting 308's seem to love 160 to 165.
