Default Traveling up North, what are the ammo restrictions?

I'll be in San Jose, San Francisco and Sacramento and wanted to touch base on ammo restrictions in these cities. I remember reading that San Francisco banned JHPs, what happened with this case?

Did they ban the sale or possession of this type of ammo? Do people just load up with FMJ at home for their trip North?

No Restrictions on ammo, even in SF. I don't think anywhere in SF city limits sells ammo anyways.

BTW, when you're up in Sacto area, try a Jimboy's original taco.

SF once posted this
http://sf-police.org/index.aspx?page=4211
Quote:
On April 2013 the San Francisco Board of Supervisors enacted San Francisco Municipal Police Code 618. The following ammunition is prohibited in the City and County of San Francisco:
- Winchester Black Talon
- Federal Premium "Law Enforcement Ammunition Tactical"
- Hornady "TAP (Tactical Application Police) Law Enforcement Ammunition"
as "the list" back in Aug.

And yes Jimboy's is good

Well problems can occur, especially if your CCW requires you to notify LE upon contact. Even though my gut tells me you'd be fine, still a headache dealing with these morons.
