Colt Series 80 made for an overseas military contract that was canceled. Not M1991. Has the firing pin safety and the finger type barrel bushing.

Great shooter and more accurate than any 1911A1 that I've ever shot!

I thought I would see more modded 1911s. Anyway I will post my modded Defender later when I am willing to get off my *** and take a picture of it.

I checked/cleaned a Colt Pocket Hammerless 1903 (Mfg 1906) my frined inherited so I took a picture of it along side the M1911 (1915) that was my father's. I'm purchasing a Colt Rail Gun tomorrow, so in 10 days I will post a follow up of the three.

I was with my father the day he bought this Colt SSA in 1975 at a gun show at the San Mateo County fair grounds; it's still NIB, never fired outside the Colt factory and he paid cash and walked with it the same day...Ahhh, the good 'ol days...

Here's another NIB Colt, a pre-Series 70 Lightweight 1911 Commander

Added some Dan Eagle grips to the Mustang to replace the black plastic factory grips.
Gorgeous don't you agree?
