Default Trilux SUIT scope, I need help???

Hey calgunners,
So i just bought a Trilux Suit scope off of eBay and want to be sure i didn't get ripped off, since i know very little about them. I mounted the scope on my L1A1 claw mount with little to no issue. My concern is that i can slightly lift the scope around the T-bar near the back. Is this common or part of the design? I asked someone and they though it was part of the design to allow the scope to be adjusted by the lever for shooting at 300 and 500 yards. I was told i should just take the rifle to the range, but I'm afraid i wont have the time for at least a week or two and i dont want to miss my chance to file a claim with the eBay member i bought this from. I would love to post this is on FAL files, but they mods are lagging on activating my account. What do you guys think or suggest?
Thanks
Everyone

Is it spring loaded and (relatively) stiff to pull up?

I had one years ago, and remember it had some movement in it, but the spring was stiff enough it seemed to hold zero.

I pulled my Izzy out of the safe to check, mine does not move. There is a bit of tinkering involved with the springs to get it to seat correctly.

Hey guys thanks for the response. I believe it is spring loaded, but the spring is not that tight or as tight as I would imagine it. It's not an Israeli model if that makes a difference
