Default WILL A CAL15-BS BULLET BUTTON FIT ON A POF RIFLE?

Hey shooters,

just curious if anyone has ever installed a Cal15-BS bullet button on a POF rifle, and if it would fit?

I spoke to Jef, and he was not sure.

If you have, could you let me know if there were any issues, and could you post a picture. I would also appreciate the diameter dimensions, as that may help me decide as well.

I am about to take the plunge, but am not sure if it will fit. Below are two pixs of my POF's mag release button, and the area surrounding it.

Thanks.

In Christ: Raymond

Is that rust I see on the "jungle flap" and selector switch or is it just a dirty rifle

You see a selector in that photo? Btw, the trigger looks rusty too.

Anyways, I don't see why a BS Button won't work but this question may be better answered in the 'Centerfire Rifles' forum by people who may already own the POF.

Geoff, that is not the selector switch. Those are KNS ANTI-ROTATION PINS.

As for the rust...nope. It's the fine Vegas dirt from the Multigun Nationals.

The trigger is a GEISELLE 2-STAGE TRIGGER. That's just their funky color.

Looks like I might just be able to file a little of the Cal15-BS button away to make it fit. Gonna give it a try, as it looks like the best "CA bullet button" on the market.

I just ended up sanding off the anodizing and polishing mine to fit an SI Defense 308 lower. Nothing wrong with filing or sanding to fit.

Works fine and I still hate it, but I live in CA and outside of featureless what choice do I have?

I don't use my 308 for 3-gun yet so the bullet button is ok considering my choices.

OK, shooters,

just installed the Cal15-BS boolit button.

Two words - Super Sweet!

Yea...it fits my POF lower with no modifications.

Below are a few pictures of my POF with the button installed. The first picture is with the cover in place. You need "a tool" to drop the magazine. On the other two pictures, you see the bullet button with the cover removed. In this capacity, when out of state, it works just like a regular magazine release.

So now you know.

Thanks.

In Christ: Raymond

I see a rifle that looks like it gets shot and used as intended! Such a change from the parade of safe queens that only see the light of day for photo shoots.

OP: Nice Rifle!

No "south-paw mag release" on my rifle.

Maybe you're mistaking it for the "PHASE 5 TACTICAL EBR V2". (Click on link).

I have their prototype version, when they first came out with it.

Solid one-piece unit. Best on the market!!

And...Bobby...Yuuup. I use thhe tar-nations out of everything I own. You should see my Nighthawk Predator pistol. Used, used, and worn the heck out.
